My Sweet Baby....Sometimes

AWWW......This was a picture I snapped of Campbell this morning sleeping. She looked so sweet and innocent....AND THEN SHE WOKE UP!

Ready for School!

Today was Abby's first day back to school. Both she and I were very excited. Her teacher this year is Mrs. Amber. I play bunco with Amber and she is such a sweet person. We were so glad to hear that Abby was going to be in her class.

The other night Abby came in the office while I was on the computer with this on......long sleeve pajamas and socks with valentine hearts on them! For the sake of arguing I just shook my head and snapped a picture.

A fun week with the kids

Last week Brandon took off and we did some fun stuff with the kids. At the last minute we decided to take a trip to Gatlinburg over the 4th of July weekend. It was a fun trip but we will never go back during a holiday. It took us 7 hours to get there and we fought traffic all weekend...not fun when you have 2 kids in the back seat!! After we got back, we went to the botanical gardens for the 2nd time this year. This time Abby wore her bathing suit so she could get wet. On Friday, Abby and I went to see Toy Story 3.....soooo cute! And, on Saturday afternoon we took Abby to the kiddie carnival in Athens. This week it will be back to cleaning, cooking (which I did none of last week), lots of laundry and taking care of the kiddos on my own. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted!

Father's Day

I hope Brandon had a great Father's Day on Sunday. He got a new pair of golf shorts, a hat and a book I made for him on Snapfish of the girls. We also got to enjoy some time around the pool!!

A Fun Saturday!

On Saturday we decided to take Abby to the tree houses at the Huntsville Botanical Gardens. Despite having to take cover in one of the tree houses during a brief shower, we really enjoyed our time there. It is such a beautiful place and we plan to visit again in the fall when they have the scarecrow trail!

Campbell had fun too!!!

This was the Wizard of Oz tree house. I thought it was really neat, although Abby really didn't get it because she has never seen the movie.

Then and Now

Here are a few sweet pictures of my girls at the same age-around 91/2
months. Campbell is really starting to change. For the first few months I could not tell her baby pictures apart from Abby's. Campbell is my dark hair/dark eye/dark complexion child and Abby favors me with the blonde hair/blue eyes and fair skin.

Look at my sweet Abby! I can't believe this was 4 years ago. Notice the frilly outfit and bow....well not anymore with the 2nd child! On Tuseday I had to carry Campbell to the doctor and while taking her clothes off for them to weigh her, I noticed her clothes were on backwards, and yes we had been gone all morning running from place to place! So, not only did Campbell miss out on the frills, but she doesn't even get to wear her clothes the right way!
