HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!!

I'm Back!!

Well, I realized last night that I have been away for a while. December was such a busy month. I felt as if I had somewhere to be or something to do every day. I say every year that I am not going to let the holidays get to me, but every year I feel like celebrating on December 26th. We did have a little bit of down time over the holidays. A few days before Christmas, Brandon and I went to Nashville (alone) for a few days. It was our gift from my parents. We stayed at the Opryland Hotel for 2 nights, saw the rockettes (awesome!!), shopped, and went on the ICE tour (not so awesome-too cold and mainly for kids). We had such a great time. That was so much better than any material thing they could have bought us.

Christmas was not so bad this year. My parents and brother came over Christmas morning to eat breakfast, but other than that we did nothing. Usually, we are running around crazy trying to make it every where, but not this year. I think I am spoiled!! Santa was also very good to Abby. She got her Sleeping Beauty vanity that she has been wanting for 3 months. She loves it -for now!! It has not moved from our living room since Christmas Eve. I know the minute I take it back to the play room it will never be touched again. After Chrismas was over, everything seemed to get a lot less hectic. We stayed at home for New Year's, went to a few movies (which we NEVER do) and enjoyed some time at home. Anyway, maybe since the holiday season is over I will have a little more computer time!!

Who Needs Presents From Santa?

Well, maybe Santa just needs to skip our house this year, or maybe this is a sign abby needs new toys. Abby loves playing with these cups! She likes to stack them and then knock them down like bowling pins. This was too funny to watch!

Pumpkin Carving and Fall Celebration at MMO

Here are a few pictures from Abby's fall celebration at school. This year they got to dress up, which was alot of fun for the kids. They had McDonalds for lunch and then they did a candy swap. She got sooo much candy. I am not sure we even need to go trick or treating tonight-HAHA!

When we got home, I attempted to carve a pumpkin. Abby was going to help until she realized how messy it was going to get. Don't laugh (or look too closely) at the pumpkin -It was freehanded! As you can see I am no artist! I will try to post some more pictures of tonight later this weekend. Abby will be dressed as Tinkerbell and is going trick or treating with her cousins.

Time for Fall!

Here are a few pictures of Abby on her field trip at Tate Farms. She had fun picking her own pumpkin, although I wish she could have picked a smaller one that she could have carried around!

Here lately, she has enjoyed having her picture taken. She asked me if I would take a picture of her "with the pumpkins". So, yesterday we went outside and snapped a few!
